Research and Library Services Unit
To provide expertise and service in legal research, publication and library services.
The Unit will perform the following activities:-
(i)Conduct legal research in criminal prosecution and related matters;
(ii)Inform library users on current legal developments;
(iii)Stock the library with adequate research facilities, materials and informative literatures;
(iv)Equip the library with constitutions, statutes and legal documents;
(v)Keep law reports, periodical law publications, law journals and news papers;
(vi)Maintain a register of all reference materials;
(vii)Facilitate borrowing of reference materials;
(viii)Establish a system of exchange of prosecution related legislation and work from other Commonwealth and non-Commonwealth jurisdictions; and
(ix)Advise on procurement of legal publications.
